Currently, our rehabilitation department prioritizes follow-up care for patients receiving surgery at VROC. However, as our services expand, we plan to accept direct rehabilitation referrals. If you have a patient in need of rehab, please reach out to discuss potential availability and future options.

Absolutely! We encourage vet-to-vet pre-referral consultations. Our board-certified surgeons are available to discuss cases via phone or text. If you’d like to review radiographs or discuss treatment options, contact us at 512-778-VROC and ask to be connected to a surgeon.

- Relevant radiographs (DICOM files preferred)
- Any lab work results, if applicable
- Previous surgical reports (if relevant)

We prioritize urgent cases and offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your patients’ needs. We are a facility that focuses on elective procedures aim to schedule a referral for consultation within a week. If scheduling is a concern of your client, you or they can always contact us for real-time availability.
Our specialists will provide a detailed treatment plan, prognosis, and cost estimate to the pet owner during the initial consultation. We ensure transparency in all discussions and encourage owners to reach out with any follow-up questions.
Yes, we have an integrated rehabilitation program to optimize recovery. We tailor post-operative care plans based on each patient’s needs and will encourage owners to coordinate follow-up visits with your clinic when appropriate.
While we cater primarily to elective procedures, for urgent cases, call our main line at 512-778-VROC and request to speak with a surgeon. Our surgeons will be able to assist with determining urgency and we will work closely with you to ensure we can achieve the best outcome for your client and their pet.
We value your partnership in recovery. While we provide detailed post-op instructions to owners, and will conduct our own internal follow-up appointments, we recognise the importance of including you in that process. When needed we will rely on you for follow-up evaluations. We will outline specific recommendations for each case and are happy to consult on any post-op concerns you have for your clients.
